About Us

At Forest Park, we value community, student growth and active learning. We create a supportive environment where effort is recognized and students learn together. Through hands-on projects, school events, core values and strong family partnerships, we help every child grow and thrive.

Student Life & Enrichment

  • Wellness Committee
The committee focuses on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and selects a Word of the Month based on FWCS Core Competencies. These words help guide student behavior and learning throughout the year.

  • Daily Classroom Meetings
Each classroom holds daily meetings that connect to the Word of the Month. These meetings help build community, reinforce SEL skills and provide a consistent structure for student reflection and connection.

  • Monthly Award Ceremonies
Students who demonstrate the Word of the Month are recognized and celebrated during monthly award ceremonies, reinforcing positive behavior and school values.
